Set up Amp CLI
Install Amp using its official instructions, run amp and complete its own sign-in. Current official configuration docs do not document a generic OpenAI-compatible model endpoint. LaRouter routing for Amp has not been verified, so do not substitute a LaRouter key for Amp credentials. Use another supported agent if you need LaRouter routing now.
Option 1: Use Configure
Automatic LaRouter configuration is unavailable: a supported custom inference endpoint has not been verified for Amp.
Configuration file location

~/.config/amp/settings.json- Linux
~/.config/amp/settings.json- Windows
%USERPROFILE%\.config\amp\settings.json
These are default locations. For a tool running in WSL, use its Linux path inside WSL. If you changed the configuration directory, select the tool’s actual file. Your browser can only read or write files you select.
