Set up Cursor
Open Cursor Settings, then Models. Enable the OpenAI API key option, enter your LaRouter key and override the OpenAI base URL with the public URL below. Add a custom model supported by your connected accounts. Test it in chat. Availability depends on your Cursor plan and feature; custom keys do not replace every Cursor feature. To reset, disable the custom URL/key and select a built-in model.
Option 1: Use Configure
Cursor manages provider credentials in its application settings. Use the manual settings flow below; there is no supported provider file for this picker.
Option 2: Configure manually
Back up your files and replace only the placeholders shown below. Codex already uses gpt-5.6-sol. Use model names without router prefixes such as cx/. Keep tool-required local provider bindings such as larouter/ where shown, and preserve unrelated settings.
